A magazine about lifestyles in Russia reported the results of a survey, directed at women, which asked what they wanted from their men. Many different characteristics were returned. Some of the answers given, as to what a Russian wife Expects in Her Mate, are addressed below.
Presenting oneself as well-groomed and dressed was given high marks from Russian women. They expressed great dislike for men whose dress and appearance were sloppy or unkempt. The women thought that if they take pride in how they present themselves, so should their partners.
